Jay Prentiss (pictured above), from Crested Butte, CO, has been a professional freeskier for eleven years and is sponsored by Fishcer Skis, Leki, LOKI Outerwear, and serves as ski ambassador for Crested Butte Mountain Resort. He has spent winters doing photos shoots around the world. These photos have appeared in Skiing, Ski, Men’s Journal, and many other publications.

I am an elite endurance athlete and head ski coach. I have been using Acli-Mate® Mountain Sports Drink for over a year. I generally use Acli-Mate® on a daily basis as a healthy sport drink to boost my energy and keep me hydrated. I am already acclimated to the Crested Butte mountain area so it’s greatest benefit to me is as a sport drink. When using Acli-Mate® my energy levels are consistently higher and more stable. I don’t notice any bonking after using it. I think the B-Vitamins and adrenal herbs, in addition to the electrolytes, really contribute to this. I consume 2 or more gallons of fluids daily. In addition to being effective at increasing and helping me sustain my energy levels, Acli-Mate® to keep me drinking as water can get a little boring.

Acli-Mate® is the only sport drink that I’ve come across that adds easily absorbed calcium and magnesium as well. Earlier in my career I suffered from repeated stress fractures. I realize that extreme endurance sports deplete the body of calcium and magnesium; if it isn’t available in the blood, it comes from my bones.
